About Us

Bakers originally began trading in 1973 in East London as a self adhesive roll label supplier.

The brainchild of Marion & Roy Baker, working from a caravan in Kings Cross they set up a business which is today; still growing and thriving.

Growing up with labels, Marion & Roy’s son Steve was a natural successor to run the business.  Steve has been around labels since he was 14 years old, he knows the business inside out.  Recognising the need for ready-to-print materials for the roll label market, Steve developed Baker Materials.   Always an integral part of the business, Steve made the decision to not only purchase materials required for his own trade label business but also to stock and sell materials to other roll label printers.
